During my year on the Kaisercraft DT we were asked to do a Technique focus for Scrapbook Creations magazine - using a mini-album on a LO. This was my take on the challenge using Kaisercraft's Devonshire range. It's in the current SC (number 80 I think?) along with Rona Bailey and Tanya Tahir's gorgeous LO's.

Girl's Paperie "On Holiday"

Available at Anna's Craft Cupboard

Fancy Pants "Wishful Thinking"

Available at Anna's Craft Cupboard - I love this range - so much so I have a piece of paper on my desk that is just too pretty to cut up, which NEVER happens to me - but I WILL use it so watch this space!

Kaszazz cards

I had these cards published in the last Scrapbooking Memories but they were accidently credited to Jodi Dolbel - no biggie, but SBM were so good about it and definitely made up for it with an awesome parcel in the mail!

Another My Little Shoebox LO

Products available at Anna's Craft Cupboard

My Little Shoebox

Ok - just a heads up - I've come to the conclusion that theres a bunch of stuff that I don't think ever gets to my blog so I'm just going to randomly upload things as I find them - so forewarned is fore-armed so feel free to tune out anytime
This is my latest step by step which is up on the Anna's Craft blog. I'm usually not a fan of brights but for some reason I love this Cosmo Cricket range "DeLovely", so I added it to my wishlist for my DT pack Anna's and I got lucky!

Bloody Masterchef...

I blame YOU, MASTERCHEF, for all the carrot peelings across my kitchen table and itty bitty bits of cut up fruit everywhere. My 2 youngest kids (4 & 7) have been 'playing' Masterchef this afternoon - arranging concoctions of things on plates and naming themselves after the contestants on the show - although of course my Claire is always the one named Claire...
And speaking of my Claire - I think she fell in love with one of the next door neighbour boys today simply by something he said. He was over at our house playing 'boy' things and Claire and her little friend asked them if they would be the judges for Masterchef, kind of expecting them to not be into it. Then he said "Have you got pieces of paper so we can write our scores down?" and the look on her face...well, I can just imagine in her head she was going "Oh.My.God...I'm going to marry you".
But you're still not forgiven Masterchef......

Using divided page protectors

A couple of months ago I had an article in Scrapbooking Memories about using divided page protectors and here are the LO's. There was one more LO which focussed more on using mini-albums in the pockets but I can't find it in my file so maybe I never took one? Anyhoo - here they are

(You can buy these page protectors at Annas CRaft by the way...)

She wasn't crying

My darling daughter Madison always carries on like a pork chop (where DID that saying come from??) whenever anything happens to her - honestly there are times when I think her arm must've been ripped off and I go outside and she's stepped in water or something insignificant- she is just one of those kids where you cannot truly guage her pain by the sound she is making as there is no varying degrees of it! (the other 2 kids, on the other hand are completelyt normal in these matters)
So last week I picked her up from the local youth centre (yes, I can go to these things now cos I LIVE IN TOWN - lol) and she was complaining about her sore foot - and I thought she was just whingeing cos she was walking on gravel but when she really had tears streaming down her face I actually believed her.
And one of her toes was looking a bit red and wonky - and the next morning she woke up with this bruise - so I took her to the doc (then the hospital, then the doc, then back the hospital - but we wont' go there...)and she's broken her middle toe - and just for the record, it wasn't the wonky red one!lol

So she's now lapping up the sympathy - and I said to her "Who do you take after?" and she very solemnly said "My father..." lmao - if you knew him you'd know this is completely true - he is highly talented at hurting himself on stuff that you wouldn't think is dangerous - and often on couches which is what Mads broke her toe on.
