Flying pigs........

2 posts in one night - oh my golly goshness!! LOL
Just wanted to overload on Lo's seeing as I have so many to share and don't get around to updating all that often.
Here's another 6x12" for Darcy's album - love this size for something different every now and then. If you want to try this size, you can get the 6x12" page protectors from Karen's Scrappin Kupboard here. And these are some pages done with the Daisy Bucket 'In the Meadow' papers which are just awesome colours - I love this green and blue together - so versatile.

And I booked to go on retreat at the end of October!! YAY. Cannot wait - Nic Anderson and Mardi Winen are going to be the teachers and I can't wait to catch up with Miss Sheree!!

Scrappy stuff

I've been scrapping! As I wrote in the last post, I got my new Heidi Swapp alphabet stamps from Anna's and I love them every bit as much as I thought I would.I have been using them 0n EVERYTHING!! (well, not my children............lol - but everything I've been scrapping)
Here's a few things - I've scrapped these photos a few times as I wanted a LO of Ben in each of the kids albums so they remember him when they get older.
I really love that October Afternoon pp too - the black dotty one. Pretty much all the products on these pages can be bought from Anna's store. And here's the October AFternoon paper again..........lol
Don't you just love the stamps!!
Using October Afternoon pp

I had a visitor on Monday which was just lovely! Steph Mitchell from Bon's forum called in for a cuppa on her way home from visiting her hubby at Yalgoo. It's absolutely amazing, I find, that someone I met online can be the one person that just HAPPENS to drive past my front gate. I mean, NO ONE ever does that. We have lots of visitors, but they are ones that travel to see us - but Steph just happens to drive past my front gate.
It was so nice to catch up with her again and to meet her (very patient!!) daughter!
Anyway - will post again soon as I have more scrapping to share.
And it's getting on to the end of the month now - want another challenge to enter? Kims' sketch over at KSK is a great one - and so easy. And at the moment there's not many entries so your chances of winning are WAY up there!! If you want to check it out - look here.

Love at first sight........

As soon as I saw these stamps on Janet Hopkins blog I KNEW, way back then, that I just HAD to have them and GUESS WHAT?? They're now MINE!!YAY
Anna has now put them up on her site for purchase HERE! So if you want a set you'd better get in quick as she hasn't got many!!
Thats all I'm posting - was just a wee bit excited about them!!LOL

Annas Sept Sketch & Masters!!

The new sketch is up!! All you have to do to win a $35 voucher at Annas store is to do a LO based on this sketch and upload to the gallery by the end of Sept. And to big news - I got a phonecall from Cassie at Scrapbooking Memories mag the other day saying I'd been shortlisted for the Masters!!YAY. Made it to the Top 50 so I'm happy with that - not expecting much more!

Thanks for all the emails and well-wishes I've recieved and a HUGE CONGRATS to the many talented online friends out there that made it too. I tell you, Louise Nelson is the one to watch this year!!

And to the ones that didn't make it - there's one in particular that I was shocked that she didn't get in (she knows who she is!) and another girl that I don't know but I checked out her creations on her blog today and they were FANTASTIC!!! Absolutely gob-smacked that she didn't get in. No pressure.........LOL!!

Bon's Sept stuff

Hey there - here's a really quick post. This months 'kitchen inspiration' challenge (previously known as the monthly comp - but I think we'll have to offically change the name with Bons kitchen fetish!!LOL) is up - you can see the kitchen here.
And here's my LO - using the colours of the kitchen (have used bits of Bon's boy kits over the past few months). Oh - and speaking of kits - if you want one of Bons kits this month you'd better get your skates on as I think they're all nearly sold out - in fact I think the girl one has already. See them here if you want to check them out.(just go into the kit section)
And here's my page for the Paper of The Month challenge at Bon's too - to use Heidi Swapp's Carefree Hearts paper. Very cute paper!!

Anyway - signing off now - will be back later.............

I've been scrapping.......

Surprise surprise!!LOL. It's been a little while since a blog post from me so thought I'd just fill it up with LO's and not much else!! This was my first go at a 6"x12" LO and I love them!! I love them in my album too - it's so groovy having the different size in there. If you haven't tried it I urge you too - SO much fun to do!! And this was done for a challenge to use no photo - bit scary but I'd been meaning to do this with my kdis for ages so it was a great chance to -and I love the LO.
A blurry photo taken by Madison - how cool is that? Love the pic.
I'm not messy, I am creative!! (well - and messy too!LOL)
And a round Becky Fleck page map was used for this one - I did it for a blog challenge and forgot it was also supposed to be monochromatic!!D'OH - I'm just SO clever sometimes I astound myself!!LOL. But obviously I'm not the only one, as the lady who owns the blog said that only one entry so far had been monochromatic!LOL

Anyway - new month tomorrow and a bunch of new challenges to check out. I'll post again hopefully tomorrow to put up my "monthly LO comp" page and "paper of the month" page for the challenges over at Bons. Keep your eyes peeled for the monthly comp - I swear Bon has a fetish of some sort!!LOL.

Anna's Craft Cupboard monthly sketch

The sketch is up again (well, has been a while.............whoops - LOL!) so if you'd like to win a $35 voucher at Anna's then just do a LO based on this Becky Fleck sketch and upload by the end of August.
And she has got some BRILLIANT new stuff in there at the moment - the new Fiskars Threading Water punch is IN STOCK (this has been a hard one to get my hands on!!) and some fabulous new alphas by CArolee's Creations - these are excellent value!! Anyway, here's my example
And here's a couple more Lo's that I've done over the past week or so - whilst procrastinating........
This one was done using a 'puzzle sketch' from the new puzzle sketch blog which I just LOVE the idea of - check it out here.
And anothery - love this one of Madison using my old (non-working camera) - so guess what she's getting for her birthday??;)
Anyway catch you all later - with write a bit about whats been happening in my next post

Stuff

Ok - now hopefully this post will be prettier than the last one seeing as I've actually added pics!!

On 'blog' notes too - I've been awarded the Brilliante Weblog award - twice actually, thanks Janine!! (and sorry, but the other was a while ago and I completely forgot, so therefore I also forgot who gave it to me!) Which also reminded me of a tag from Toni, that I also haven't done but I promise I will!
As to the Brilliante weblog award I know that everyone I nominate will already have one so I'll just list their names - I adore these peoples work on their blogs!
Belinda Venables, Helen Karanfilovski, Erica Glover, Mel Nunn, Sheree McGee, omg - there's just too many to mention..........lol.
Here's some stuff (as promised in the title of the post........so descriptive - in fact I think I call lots of posts 'stuff' - lol)
This was done for Anna's Craft Cupboard using Fancy Pants, Pink Paislee, MM Noteworthy and Sassafrass Lass pp's, MM Noteworthy journalling spot, MM felt alphas amd Kaisercraft bling word And this would just be a close up of that bling word............
This was also done using some of the Kaiser bling. Oh - and the new October Afternoon Detour's pp - I think I've found my new love.............
And using the new Appleton pp which I think is sold out atm - but I'm pretty sure Anna is restocking next week (and I don't think I imagined that piece of info!!LOL)
- and American Crafts thickers and October Afternoon journalling spot. This one is done using chatterbox olive cs, grungeboard arrow, American crafts velvet thickers and October Afternoon journalling spot.
And Anna has her new Becky Fleck sketch challenge up for the month - and I LOVE this one!! I will post it in another blog entry - along with my example - WHEN I do it that is!!
Anyway - off to get ready for footy and hockey. We SHOULD win the footy hopefully - we've also been tipped to win on the radio. The oval is SOOO wet though so should make for an interesting game - and good luck to Sue and Tammy who get to wash the jumpers tomorrow!LOL.
As to hockey winning..........well.......isn't the weather lovely??
Catch you later!!

KSK Monthly Sketch

Now I'm not just saying it, but I really love this sketch by Kim Allard and can see myself using it again! If you want to do a LO using this sketch, just head on over to Karen's Scrappin Kupboard and upload before the end of July and you could win a $20 voucher (and man, is there some FUN stuff over there you could spend your $20 on!!) Here's my LO using the sketch - one about Darcy loving Bob the Builder, but when you ask who he is - he isn't just "bob the builder", he's "Darcy the Bob the Builder". And talking of the funny things kids say, we had a roast for tea and Madison was horrified that we were horrified we were having "gross potatoes" with it!!LOL (I had to repeat 'roast potatoes' before she realised!!LOL)
And here's a card.........did I really need to explain that??lol
And another LO done using a sketch - a bit more grungy than I usually do, but thats ok - I can deal with that.........
Oh, and anothery - a very simple LO of the bubble blower things the girls got for christmas which were SO uch fun!! You probably can't really see the bubbles in these pics but there were just millions of them.
And a big congrats to Anna who won the BONanza - so well-deserved and I loved seeing so much of your work in the gallery - YOU ROCK, chicky!!

Now a quick update on my life - Bradley went to hospital again last week after having a vomiting virus for about 48 hours and then tonsilitis kicked in - how fun does that sound?? So he spent 2 nights in the brand new hospital, which personally I think he just wanted to check out as it had only been opened the week before!!LOL

The kids are now on holidays - YAY - no more trips to the bus but it does mean I have to be a bit more 'fun' during the day. We painted on sunday, went to Nanas yesterday for a visit and then made chocolate lamingtons today. And don't we all know how the "entertainment" time of such a cake-making event is inversely proportional to the "mum gets to clean up" time - so now I deserve to sit down with my coffee and catch up on blog-reading!!

We are going to Geraldton at the end of the week to catch up with friends that we haven't seen for ages which will be nice - that and the chinese food we are going to eat YYUUUUUMMM!! And we are going to take the kids to see Kung Fu Panda which I've heard good things about. And on Friday I get to go to the dentist - what a fun-filled trip!! I just need to get my moles checked and get a papsmear and it would make the day complete!!LOL

Anyway, enough drivel...............bye

Bon's Cybercrop

Sorry this is a bit late - but not TOO late. Had a bit of a crappy week with a humungous toothache and can't get into the dentist until Mon so hadn't really felt like posting. But my mojo is back now - and you still have a couple of days to get your entries in for my sketch challenge - you get a CHOICE this month of whichever sketch you want to do, you have to use at least one button and something with stripes (AND if you choose to do this as a double - I will send a RAK to EVERYONE that does it as a double!!)
Here's my example
And the new monthly challenge over at Bon's is to be inspired by a pic Bon has put up in the forum - this is my LO - very white and green!! Loving that new MM Passport pp.

New month, new challenges........

How fun!! Check out this Becky Fleck sketch ..........if you do a LO based on this sketch and upload to the Anna's Craft Cupboard gallery then you could win a $35 voucher including free postage!!
And here's my very 'minimal' take on the LO using October Afternoon, Pink Paislee and MM Noteworthy pp's, AC thickers and FTI buttons

I adore Helen's take on the sketch - you should check it out in the gallery here.
Look forward to seeing your interpretations!!!

BONanza!!

Ok - it's week 4 of Bon's Scraps BONanza and my challenge is now up! You have to use 90% of product from one manufacturer (excluding your CS). Mine is using 100% of Making Memories products - all from Bon's (there are the new Passport range and I'm in love with that green circley pp!). I've used it on about 3 LO's already!!LOL
Also today is Red Nose Day as I'm sure you're all aware and if you decide to do a spot of pre-weekend retail therapy, BOn's is supporting Red NOse Day by donating 50% of todays profits to SIDS and KIDS. It's a charity very close to Bon's heart as she lost her brother to SIDS when he was only one month old.

And if you're after some 'thinking-free' scrapping and want to create a LO like this one below - then there's step-by-step instructions on Anna's Craft Cupboard blog.
Now yours doesn't have to be QUITE so bright as this one but I'm in love with the new WRMK White Out RAnge (and must get me some more!).

I've made quite a dent in my masters entry now - just waiting on something to do my calendar and then I'm done. I haven't actually STARTED the calendar as such - LOL - but I have all my ideas and all the product there all ready to go - just waiting for something to stick it onto!!LOL. Hopefully it will work out as good as in my head - I will actually have a funky little calendar for next then!LOL (instead of the freebie John Deere one we get - lol)

ANyway - hope you have a fab weekend - I have a sick hubby and we all know how much FUN that can be!!LOL . So wish me luck - or maybe it's him that needs the luck??

SALE!!

Come on, you all know you LOVE a bargain and Bon's Scraps has 25% off storewide!! WOOOHOOOO. But you'd better get your skates on because there's only one day left!

And if you'd like to win more spending money, then do this great Becky Fleck sketch over at Anna's Craft Cupboard and you could win a $35 voucher - $35!!!!
Here's mine - very simple And here's another one I did for a challenge - of my gorgeous girl!! (oh - one of them anyway!)

My mum and dad are on their way up here right now - as it's my birthday tomorrow! They are looking at new utes on the way, so no doubt it will take them about 56 hours to get here!!LOL.
Oh - and I've decided to enter the Masters - I've given myself a tad more time than last year, but not much as now I have to wait on stuff to get here for my calendar that is one of the criteria - now lets just hope it all works out the way it looks in my head!
I've done my single LO, and am halfway thru my 'keepsake' so here's hoping the inspiration stays around!!

A quick catch-up

Ok - to have a quick catch up on LO's and 'stuff' seeing as I haven't really scrapped that much lately but have just re-found my enthusiasm!!
Here's my LO for the current monthly theme comp at Bon's - which is "Happiness". These are just photos of Claire being such a dill up at the shearing shed as soon as I wanted a photo of her! YOu probably can't really see the look on her face but it's a classic. And this one is for the Paper of the Month challenge - also over at Bons'. It's the Bo Bunny Xtreme Teen - 'Teen' pp. And don't worry - that isn;t a full beer!! We have friends over in Denmark that always send us silly presents, so we had to take a photo of the kids with these "stubbie-holder gloves" on!
And now for my first projects for Annas Craft Cupboard!! I got a wonderful parcel of stuff from Anna - I'm so in love with the new Pink Paislee papers!!
This one is using the pink paislee pp and AC thickers
Just showing a close up of the butterfly that I embossed with my cuttlebug - LOVE that effect!
OK - now to think up some exciting stuff to mention - OH THIS IS EXCITING - read the post below and make sure you've signed up for the BONanza!! VERY exciting prizes that I would SO love to win!!
1st prize: $75 shopping voucher
2nd prize: MM leather album
3rd prize: cropper hopper mini-tote

As to normal daily life - Bradley got a new job at the Morawa Ag College, so we're pretty excited about that, and have been spending lots of nights in town at a friends house making his travel a bit easier on him - and making it easier for him to see the kids and me. We've never had lunch or tea so often together!!LOL
And it will be a nice change to know when we are being paid next!!

Ok - was planning on a big post, but am so tired and will toddle off to bed I think. Will post more in the next few days.

Oh - quick note too - for people wanting one of these - and I know LOTS of ppl that do!! Karens Scrappin Kupboard is taking pre-orders for these and they are ONLY $21. They are the new Fiskars Threading Water punch - check them out here.
